Having gone to their show last year as well ( see my post ), I was particularly excited to view their collection. Creative Director, Bebe Moratti, has a style aesthetic for the Redemption woman that is in line with my own, and based on their previous shows I expected a beautiful mix of elegance, rawness and drama. NYFW – KÛR Spring Summer 2019

Look 7 from the KUR Spring Summer 2019 Runway Show

Whether it’s in New York or Paris (haven’t attended LFW or MFW yet!), one of the things I love about attending fashion week is the opportunity to discover amazing new designers and brands. KÛR by Kasuni Rathnsauriya is one of these brands.

During NYFW this past week, I attended the KÛR show for Spring Summer ’19. Founded in 2009, this clothing line is not new but was new to me. For this season, the collection, referred to as “Compact Traveller”, represented a blend of professional and off-duty looks. Things To Do In NYC Before Summer Is Over

The end of summer always comes faster than I want it to and this summer is no exception! There are still lots of things on my to-do list including some things that were purely for entertainment like taking the time to enjoy NYC. If you’re from the area or familiar with NYC, then you know that summer is a weird time here. Compared to the rest of the year things actually seem to slow down (just a little at least) as many of its residents as well as regular population take off for long weekends to the beach and other vacay destinations. I, on the other hand, love to take advantage of this time to appreciate the city when the mood is a little more relaxed. Also helps to be free of all the layers required during the cold weather seasons… 😉

Fortunately, we still have a few weeks left of summer weather. So if you’re in the area, here are my fave things to do in NYC right now.
