The Tadashi Shoji Collection for Spring/Summer 2019 was about hope. From the dress styles, to the choice of fabrics to the intricate design details and, most of all, the message of hope, I loved everything about it! The collection was elegantly glamorous, pretty and magical.

Inspired by “going to space” and a future that is ” bright and star-filled”, the looks were gleaming, sparkly and ethereal with the use of glossy fabrics, sequins and flowy draping technique. The colors ranged from white to bold hues to vivid darkness to reflect the mystery and depth of space.

Dresses for a modern day (read: strong and sophisticated) princess, this was one of those collections where I wanted to wear all the pieces! A girl can dream, right?!

The two dresses below are probably my faves of the collection. Completely my style for a dress, they are more understated yet intricately detailed and look very flattering.

Below are my other faves of the collection. As I’m writing this post though, I’m tempted to add the rest of the collection to this grouping. All so pretty!

When I have an event where I need to wear a dress, Tadashi Shoji is one of my first places to look. Below are some Tadashi Shoji dresses I love that are currently available to buy. Click on image for a direct link to more details.
