Cold Weather Clothing & Accessory Faves + OOTD

Cold Weather Clothing + OOTD

I’m a warm weather person, but I definitely prefer cold weather clothing and accessories. There are just so many more options with fabric, styles, etc. and, of course, layering can get just down right creative as well as practical! It’s really cold in New York (where I live…) right now as I’m writing this post. The winter temps here can extend well into April and even May, so if you’re here or live in a similar climate, now is a great time to update your cold weather looks if you haven’t already. Hopefully, you can take advantage of any post-holiday or late-in-the-season sales.

In this post I am sharing some of my fave winter coats, jackets and cold weather accessories. Fashion-forward as well as functional, these items are available now; but many are selling out fast. Find the pieces you love and fit you well, so they can be worn for the next winter and hopefully several more. 😉

Outfit Details

Jacket- Free People (similar here, here and here)

Top- This one by Vince Camuto has been on repeat and is a fave right now. Reasonable priced, it’s perfect for the office as well as a top to be dressed up or dressed down. The highlight of this top (for me, at least) is that it does not have to be dry-cleaned. Machine wash on a gentle cycle, hang to dry… so easy as well as economical. 🙂

Jeans- Mcguire Denim

Boots- Stuart Weitzman (Over-the-knee boots are a fashionista must-have. Love that they are really warm too! These are from last year. Similar ones here or see the collage above for other similar boots.)

Sunnies- Ray Ban

Belt- Gucci… Need I say more?  But I will anyway, because I am obsessed with this belt! Goes with everything(buckle is not quite gold or silver in appearance), not too flashy, and dresses up my most basic and casual looks.
