My second day in Paris for PFW included a Presentation of the La Prestic Ouiston collection for Spring/Summer 2017. “A line of unique pieces that exude French savoir faire”, this collection stayed true to La Prestic Ouiston’s brand vision.
Designed by Laurence Mahéo, the pieces were created in luxurious fabrics such as silk twill, and included a beautiful mix/balance of colors and prints. A standout feature of the collection was the creative incorporation of various hand-crafted details such as embroidery done by hand in Rwanda and hand-made clogs from Brittany painted by an artist in Paris.
See below for my photos of the Presentation of the gorgeous pieces.

So obsessed with this shirtdress. Classic chic…
With a theme of “désarmament”(disarmament) and “paix”(peace), the collection evoked this message even when there was no literal reference. The looks and pieces were elegant and understated even when bold in color or design.
