PFW Spring/Summer 2017 – Poustovit, Poustovit x TAGO, Ksenia Schnaider
Comfortably settled in my office in NY, it’s hard to believe that I was in Paris for Paris Fashion Week (PFW) earlier this month yet looking through the photos I can’t believe that it wasn’t just yesterday. Miss it! So before the coming hectic season of holiday preparations, sales(esp. Black Friday and Cyber Monday!) and events, join me for the next few days (maybe week) as I recap some of my fave shows/events that I attended during PFW.
For me, PFW started(the day I arrived in Paris!) with a private cocktail party at Showroom PLC Paris to celebrate and discover three Ukrainian RTW brands: Poustovit, Poustovit x TAGO, Ksenia Schnaider. The top photo was my view as I approached the showroom.
Previously unfamiliar with these brands/designers, I was surprised and impressed, and became their newest fan!
See below for the designers and collections:
The Poustovit collection for Spring/Summer ’17 was confident and strong as well as elegantly feminine. Flowy silhouettes and delicate/youthful prints were balanced with sporty-chic details.
Obsessed with the surprise pleat detail on the back of this trench coat.
This dress needs a place in my closet! Love its fusion of girly and sophisticated.

Poustovit x TAGO
A collaboration between Poustovit and another amazing Ukrainian designer, TAGO, this collection is chic streetwear at its best. Deconstructed elements were contrasted and enhanced by luxurious detail as well as more conservative styles.
I especially loved the jackets in this collaboration.
