It’s not often that a bag from a relatively unknown, recently launched handbag line catches my eye and heart, but the bags from Time’s Arrow did just that. On a recent shopping trip to the shoe department at Neiman Marcus, I took a detour(of course) to browse their handbags, and stopped dead in my tracks in front of the Time’s Arrow display. It was the first time that I saw the bags in person, and they were beautiful. Classic and chic in design, the leather was incredibly soft and smooth, and every detail was perfectly thought out and constructed. Definitely, a line of well-made bags.
The Time’s Arrow handbag line, just launched for Fall 2013, focuses on the utility of the interior of a bag through the use of multiple pockets, zippered compartments, etc. while maintaining a classic yet fashion-forward exterior. Inspired by origami, designer Christine Park, masterfully incorporates folds and compartments into her bags so that they can flatten and expand as needed.
