Hi Everyone! Hopefully, you are enjoying the fall season. With all the craziness of the past few months, I’m still stuck in a summer transition mode as time has flown by! Also, I usually would have attended fashion weeks in NYC and Paris in Sep/early Oct, so not going in person kind of makes me feel like we’re still in early September. ? But here we are in mid-October… It’s time to embrace the fall season, and of course fall and winter fashion 2020!
Some of the trends I loved that showed on the runways for this season are ruffle blouses, fringe detail, jewel tones, plaids and prep school inspired looks. I put together a round-up of my fave pieces that incorporate some of this season’s trends while being versatile to wear dressed down as well as dressed up. For this post I focused mostly on tops as they are the easiest way to change an outfit, especially when you’re often in denim or leggings like me. 😉 And as always I chose pieces that are timeless to be wearable season after season. Given that many of us are staying home more and meeting virtually more than we would have ever previously imagined, I also included some of my fave clothing items that are must-haves for a more casual lifestyle. Gotta be comfy, right? But don’t worry, you’re still going to look good!
Btw, scroll down to the end of this post for details on the outfit I’m wearing in the top photo.
Fall and Winter 202o Fashion Must-Haves
Showing the jacket separately below as it’s not only a timeless style, but one that I’ve been looking for awhile, and finally found! Love the classic look of this double breasted jacket contrasted with a slim fit instead of the more common boxy look. With the gold buttons, it is so chic. But what I love about this jacket the most is the price! The ones similar to it that I have found were very expensive. This one is $158, but on sale right now for less than $100! 🙂
Since it has a slim fit, I recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes. Reach out to me here or on Instagram (@josephinakim.nyc) with any sizing questions!
