Andrew Gn for Spring/Summer 2018 was a marriage of contrasts. An homage to the street fashion of Harajuku and the more traditional styles of Kyoto, Andrew Gn took classic silhouettes and incorporated kimono-inspired motifs and embellishments and contrasted them with the more bold and edgy influences representative of Harajuku.
From bold shades of royal blue, emerald green and red to pretty floral appliques and landscape prints to edgy lace-up boots and buckle detail, the looks were strong and varied while staying true to Andrew Gn’s reputation for fine craftsmanship.
Below are some standout looks from the collection as well as some details shots. My fave feature of Andrew Gn Spring 2018 is his exquisite attention to detail. Loved the voluminous sleeves, use of grosgrain ribbon often as a bow (huge trend for the season), embroidery/appliques and… those lace-up boots!! Scroll down to see the deets!
The finale look… obsessed with this cape. It will be produced in limited editions, so congrats to those lucky few who get it!
