Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was busy but peaceful 🙂 with family time as well as a photoshoot for a collaboration I’m currently working on. Can’t wait to share it with you in the next few weeks! In the meantime, I wanted to share a fave new top as well as the deets for today’s OOTD.
As you may know, the ruffle trend is going on strong for this spring season. Seen all over the runways for Spring/Summer ’17, this was a trend that I knew I wanted to incorporate more into my outfits for this season. I saw this Sandro top as their spring collection first hit the stores in the U.S. and it was love at first sight, even before I tried it on! The graphic look of black with contrasting white stripes works with my style preference of minimal and edgy-chic. Add the ruffle detail at the shoulder and neckline for a perfect dose of flirty femininity. In essence, a look that is my favorite style mix as well as perfect for spring’s ruffle trend!
If you know me or have been following my blog, you may know that Sandro is one of my fave brands. Sophisticated and chic, it is my go-to clothing collection when I need to quickly update my wardrobe. The pieces I buy are usually on repeat for my outfits! If you’re not familiar with the collection, check them out now! Their sizes are limited with just a 1, 2 or 3. This top is a 1 which is the smallest. Since it’s a looser fit, you can probably size down a little if you think that you’d normally be a 2 or 3. On another note, if you have any upcoming plans for a trip to Europe (in particular France), shop it there. A French brand, it costs less when purchased locally!
Scroll through to the end of this post for full outfit deets and some of my other fave picks for tops with ruffle detail.
