Hair and Streetstyle

While taking street style photos, I’m usually more focused on the outfit and how it looks on the person. But for the photos above and below that I took during New York Fashion Week this past February, I was more inspired by their hair. Of course, the outfits are great and they’re all stunning women, but it is their color/highlights which defined and enhanced their overall looks. Since hair can be our best and most noticeable accessory, it is an easy way to achieve a style update, and sometimes intervention… 

With all the hair color trends to try like balayage, ombre, bronde and variations of almost every technique out there, I’m so excited to get more experimental with my color and highlights. Although let’s not get crazy, I’m not too adventurous, but still, there are so many options to change up your look and add some extra chic without going completely extreme.

Right now, I particularly love Aimee Song’s (of Song of Style) hair color here. What about you? Have any hair color trend faves?
