I have a not-so-secret obsession with fine paper and crafting with paper. Whether it’s buying gorgeous, quality stationery that I hesitate to actually use due my messy handwriting or making paper flowers and origami objects, I love it all. So as you might have guessed, I love visiting paper specialty stores.
Last year while shopping for holiday wrapping paper at Papersource (one of my faves), I grabbed a roll of the striking, gold chevron table runner shown in these pics thinking it was just a regular roll of wrapping paper. I’ve never used paper table runners before, but now I’m hooked. It’s a great way to incorporate different design elements and to have more (fun) options with your party decorations, especially as we’ve just headed into a month of holiday entertaining. Best of all, it works double duty as wrapping paper, and it’s recyclable!
This year, I couldn’t find this particular design at Papersource, but you can get it now here. Also love this whimsical and sweet confetti runner and this chalkboard runner. The chalkboard runner is particularly fun for entertaining kids or the ‘young at heart’. 🙂
