The natargeorgiou woman is modern, feminine yet alluring, and effortlessly cool. For Spring/Summer 2016 (SS16), creative directors Demos Natar and Andreas Georgiou produced another beautiful collection for their brand that stayed true to this look.
The collection was presented on October 3rd in the Empire Reception Room of the Hotel La Maison in Paris during Paris Fashion Week (PFW). The space was luxurious and serene which made it the perfect backdrop to view and appreciate the intricate detail and subtle complexity of the clothes.
The mood for the natargeorgiou SS16 season is “romantic and strong”. The silhouettes were fluid and flowy with delicate fabrics and draping techniques, yet structured with intricate tailoring and volumizing effects. Sheer fabrics and lace worked well with more demure styles to create looks that were revealing, but not provocative. Incorporating their signature cutting edge knitted material which is a foundation of their designs, Natar and Georgiou developed innovative looks by creating the material in neon and vibrant shades and pairing them with sheer net and lace. It was an elegant story of contrasts.
The other colors of the collection were neutrals, pastels and classic black.
Above and below are some photos from their PFW SS16 Presentation. Gorgeous.
Love the provocative whimsy of the shoes…
