Fall Fashion Inspiration

Inspired by this look from Ulyana Sergeenko‘s Couture Fall 2014 Collection which debuted in Paris earlier this month, I look forward to adding some layers to dressing up in the Fall. Between the drama of a full length opera coat, the shine of the crystallized fabric, the elegance of its cut and color, and the ladylike yet edgy gloves; this look is glamour and chic in one sleek package. 

Last week, I was in Paris (see some photos of my trip on instagram). An accessory I noticed on many très chic women (young and older / dressed-up and casual) were short, wrist-revealing gloves as in the photo above, even in the middle of the day when temps often reached the mid 80’s. I’m sure these gloves may have been worn for a very practical use such as grabbing the handlebars of a motorcycle, etc., but I couldn’t help but notice the incredible fashion statement. Short gloves will definitely be included in my Fall wardrobe! So cool, so chic.
