About a week (or so) ago, I visited the Rebecca Minkoff #RMHQ store in NYC for a unique and special shopping experience. I have 2 words for it…fantastic and fun.
As the hashtag indicates, this store is located at the corporate headquarters of Rebecca Minkoff. Down the hall (actually, just a few steps) from the showroom and corporate offices, the small and intimate #RMHQ store carries a curated selection of seasonally current clothing, bags, and accessories from the RM collection. Aside from the opportunity to actually visit the corporate HQ of a brand that I love, the store carries many limited edition items or items that are only sold online as well as some items in colors that are exclusive to #RMHQ. What makes the shopping experience more special and cool, is that there are no hired salespeople to help you. Corporate Rebecca Minkoff employees take shifts in the store for the ultimate brand-to-consumer experience.
These personal shopping experiences are by appointment only, but the good news (in case you didn’t know) is that they are open to the public. Just email RMHQ@rebeccaminkoff.com for your appointment.
Some photos from my visit:
The perfect prints and shades for summer…
Below are the two items that went home with me. To be honest, it took tremendous fiscal restraint on my part to just choose two, since I really wanted to go home with almost everything in the store. But I’m pacing myself. Knowing that they’ll continually refresh the store with new and different products, I’ll definitely be back for more!
Mini Perry Satchel (in Tortora – color exclusive to #RMHQ) and Small Pouch (in Hawaiian Print) |
Oh, and one more very important thing. If you visit the store and use the #RMHQ on social media, you’ll get 20% off. #loveit!!

June 11, 2014 at 11:19 pmYes, it was very hard not to. In fact, as soon as I left the store, I kept on thinking of all the bags I wished I had gotten as well!
