Most eye creams only focus on under-eye issues. Dark circles, bags, crepey skin, wrinkles… ✓, there’s a cream for that. But what about the skin of the upper-lid? As I get older, this is definitely an area of my face that I want to lift, minimize puffiness and keep firm. You know, to maintain that ‘awake’ look even when you’re dead-tired and stressed out. And since prevention is half the battle, this is something to think about even before you really need it.
Recently, I was introduced to an eye moisturizer by Philosophy called full of promise for eyes. What I love about this product is that it targets the 2 individual eye areas within the packaging of one product. One end of the tube dispenses a cream for smoothing and firming the under-eye while the other end dispenses a gel specifically for lifting the upper lid. Per product packaging instructions, it is recommended that it is used twice a day for 4 weeks to see results. I just started using it a few days ago. Upon application, it definitely feels like it’s tightening, but as far as a visible difference… I guess I’ll have to wait and see. Regardless of the outcome, my eyes are at least moisturized!
