With New York Fashion Week starting next Thursday on September 5th, I am equal parts ecstatic and overwhelmed. For me, fashion week is like fashion heaven. A time when you not only have the opportunity to preview the collections for the upcoming season, but to also see (and maybe even meet) some of the amazing people who make it all happen. It’s also a time when I feel particularly justified to indulge in my fashion obsession. You got it, I’ll be eating, sleeping, breathing it.
So now I need to make some outfit decisions to get me through the week! The outfit above is my inspiration for a fail-safe outfit. Equally chic, effortless, and comfortable; this is the type of look I will go to on the days when I can’t decide what to wear(most days) or know that I’ll need something to get me through a long day.

Of course, I’ll have a pair of Yosi Samra’s like these in my bag in case I need to do some extra walking or take the subway. As much as I love my heels, my feet sometimes need a break too…
