Mid-week Obsession – Ash Wedge Sneakers

Attended the Independent Fashion Bloggers(IFB) Conference the past 2 days here in NYC.  Since the conference precedes Fashion Week, I was concerned about…footwear (ok, I also have to admit a little concern about the humidity and impending downpours creating a week of bad hair days!).  Anyway, since we’re talking about fashion, I really needed great looking shoes with a heel (let’s face it, we all could benefit from a little extra lengthening height!) that I could walk and stand in for a full day in the city without wincing in pain with every step.  So I finally bought my first Ash wedge heel sneakers (3-inch heel) last weekend and I’m obsessed!  Not only did I love the way they looked, but I can whole-heartedly and honestly say that they are comfortable!!! Of note: I generally wear a US size 7.5, and found Ash’s European size 39(not 38) to be my correct size.  

J brand tweeted the pic above (a little fuzzy ’cause I enlarged it) of IFB attendees, and I was surprised to see that I was in the photo.  Easily picked myself out since I’m kind of in the middle holding my Celine bag and wearing my Ash sneakers.
