For the past few seasons (especially for Fall/Winter), leather, either in trim or full pieces, has been an increasing trend on the runways. It was a leading trend for FW’12 on the Paris runways for designers such as Balmain and Valentino. Wanting to incorporate leather into my spring wardrobe (no way I’m wearing leather shorts!), I love this leather vest by Karl (Karl Lagerfeld’s new label). The off-white, perforated panels keep it cooler and give it a great “sport” look.

Also love this Marni for H&M jacket (see below), especially the patent leather panels. Great for cool evenings and will take you right into the Fall!

Not leather, but I had to include this Marni jacket! (see below) Similar in look to the one above from their collection for H&M, but with twill instead of leather. It’s a great combination of a preppy, sporty and urban chic look.
