Hi! I don’t know about you, but I love a nice new lip gloss or lip color, especially when I’m in a beauty rut. Also, it doesn’t hurt that it gives a bit of instant gratification and consumer satisfaction while being more wallet friendly than a new bag or shoes! Even so, I’m picky when it comes to my lip products. They must be hydrating, but not sticky. The lip products should smell good or have no scent at all. Also, pretty packaging is always a plus. 🙂
These are three of my current lip product faves. Well, not just faves, I’m obsessed with these!
- The Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint in Oil is a gloss with a very subtle tint that is hydrating and ‘tastes’ yummy too!
- The Rouge Pur Couture Lip Color is a lipstick that comes in a ton of shades. The texture is satiny and moisturizing. I’ve tried a few of the shades and my favorite, Tropical Pink, is the one in the photo below. Love it, because it’s a cooler (more flattering for me…) shade of bright pink (perfect for Spring’s pink revival!). It’s luminous and not matte which helps soften the bold color.
- The Dior Lip Sugar Scrub is exactly what it sounds like. A balm containing grains of sugar exfoliates lips. Smells good and the best part is that it does not need to be washed off. The grains of sugar just melt away. Wear it alone for a natural look or layer on your favorite color/liner.
As you can tell by the date on my watch in the photo above, this post was supposed to be published sooner, like closer to the beginning of the month! But if you’ve been following my blog, you may have noticed that there are some changes now… mostly aesthetics and other stuff on the backend that you can’t see. I wanted to wait until the major changes were complete before I created this post. So… here it is! Still have to work out some kinks and get used to the new platform, so please bear with me!
