Sometimes it’s the show for which you have the least expectation, that impresses you the most. That was the case for the MONGOL Brand fashion show that debuted during New York Fashion Week for the Fall 2015 Collections. Founded by It girl, stylist, designer and entrepreneur Bayarmaa Bayarkhuu, MONGOL Brand’s collection for Fall’15 was “inspired by traditional Mongolian costumes combined with urban casual as well as [an] entrepreneur lifestyle”.
Unfamiliar to the brand prior to receiving my invite, I was excited to find that the looks were urban chic (even with an infusion of Mongolian heritage inspiration), the colors were vibrant, and the fabrics… luxurious.
A beautiful contrast of modern metallic and a traditional fur lining.
