#NYFW Fall 2015- HANLEY MELLON

Clothing for a sophisticated and confident “woman on the go”, the HANLEY MELLON Fall/Winter 2015 collection focused on separates. The pieces were designed to be worn on their own or layered and combined with other pieces to enable a versatile and “full seasonal wardrobe”. The collection featured luxurious fabrics such as silk charmeuse and cashmere knits in rich colors of mustard, cabernet, toast, emerald and a very refined shade of blue called “blue moon”.
Launched in Fall 2014, HANLEY MELLON debuted their second New York Fashion Week Presentation against a backdrop of fog rolling in over the docks of a passenger shipping company in reference to the migration of people through Antwerp to New York via the Red Line Shipping company in the 1800’s. For this collection (#Antwerp Collection), husband and wife co-founders and creative team Nicole Hanley Mellon and Matthew Mellon “explored the theme of journeys, both physical and intellectual”.

The gorgeous crystal fringe highlights an otherwise understated look. Love it!

A fantastic collection for Fall/Winter 2015, and even more impressive considering this is only their second presentation!
